Town have named Kevin Horlock, Nicky Forster and Ian Westlake in an 18-man squad for Saturday's home game with Plymouth Argyle. Owen Garvan is the only player still on the sidelines but the Irish youngster will be back in contention for the Coventry game in two weeks.

Boss Joe Royle was reasonably happy with a 3-3 draw and thought the Blues showed signs of getting back to form at Derby. The Town manager had praise for Matt Richards and skipper Jim Magilton, both of whom scored their opening goals of the season.

Town's reserves thrashed Watford's second string 8-1 at Portman Road on Monday night. A hat-trick from Jaime Peters, a brace from Billy Clarke and goals from Aidan Collins, Liam Craig and an own goal from Adam Griffiths secured the win.

Norwegian trialist Vemund Brekke Skard was in a Town reserves side which lost 1-0 to Spurs in a friendly at Playford Road on Tuesday afternoon. The Blues fielded a strong side including Sam Parkin, Dean Bowditch, Dean McDonald and Jaime Peters.
